Stayed 1 night here on the 18th July. Hotel easy to find . Price of parking was very reasonably for 24hrs. On arrival staff were very helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond. Rooms were very clean and tidy . Breakfast was continental .Good variety of food . The Italian restaurant was so delicious and had an offer on so very reasonable. We will stay here again
Ive stayed here numerous times when visiting family and still rate it highly. I usually stay in a standard double room with my little boy. Rooms clean, airy . Location is next to a very busy main road but surprisingly quiet at the same time . My only gripe this time, the room window. Usually when staying i tend to open the window a little as I get very warm ( not the heating, its just me ) but this time the window was locked. A bit concerning . Never stayed where the window was locked shut before.
I had to stay overnight in Hull for work purposes and I booked The Cornmill Hotel based on it's location, price and car parking. I did not have any expectations as for me it was just a place to sleep and very reasonably priced. I booked a single room which was a little small but then it is just for one person... I am just reporting, not complaining! Everything was clean, tidy and in good repair. The shower was excellent. My room had tea and coffee facilities, a large TV, storage and a spacious shower room. I did require an iron during my stay but that was no problem and an almost brand new iron and board was obtained from reception. There is a large car park that was very well lit which I appreciated. You do have to pay for your parking but it wasn't expensive and I was confident my car was safe. In terms of value for money I would say the Cornmill Hotel is very good and I was happy with the accommodation. I would book again in the future if I return to Hull. Special mention to Tina on reception who was very friendly and made me feel welcome.

Lovely hotel, with great staff, providing famous Hull hospitality. The room was a decent size, but a little tired in places. That said, the facilities were good, with anything you'd find elsewhere, but also a fridge, coffee machine, and kettle. Bathroom included a bath with very good power shower. Service was fantastic, with a non-affiliated Italian restaurant on site. Breakfast was a continental buffet, with lots of good options. Again, service great. Nothing was ever too much bother, and the staff courteous, professional, yet warm and friendly. Car Park next to hotel: Pay separately or at the hotel; a number of ways to pay available. (Including RinGo) We had a great stay, and will return again.
Good budget friendly hotel, everything you need for a place to stay in hull. Bed was squeaky and the room was quite warm and unable to vent it but can’t complain at all for the price we paid. Noisy in the morning however expected with it being a hotel so not a complaint. Tea and coffee facilities easily accessible. Good location. Reasonably priced car park fee. 3 large mirrors between bedroom and bathroom which is great before heading out. Would visit again if needing a hotel to visit hull.
